Linen is a strong, lightweight fabric made from the flax plant. Flax is resilient and can grow in poor soil, using less water than cotton to produce. Linen is a bit of a wonder fabric, able to be use for many different purposes. It holds water well, is very light and allows air through it easily, doesn’t have much stretch, though it does hold its shape very well. Linen is soft and smooth and even comes softer the more often you washed.
The garment is sustainable, because linen doesn’t take as much water and chemicals to produce it like other fabrics. Also it’s naturally hypoallergenic.
